Pooch Plunge Takes Over Sailfish Splash Waterpark
It’s a dogs’ day out at Sailfish Splash Waterpark on December 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s annual Santa Paws Holiday Pooch Plunge takes over the park for a day of fun. Admission is $10 per dog. Event proceeds will benefit the shelter animals at the humane society.
Dogs of all sizes and breeds are invited to participate in the open swim session at the waterpark before the facility closes for winter.

A woman from Delmar, Iowa was struck by a passing truck and killed after the vehicle she was in stopped on the side of the road Friday night, according to a news release from the Iowa State Patrol.
Cheryl M. Neilson, 68, was in a vehicle that reportedly hit a deer and pulled over on U.S. Highway 61 southbound at mile marker 148. Both occupants of the vehicle exited and Neilson was standing in the traveled portion of the highway, according to police.

Reba McEntire is returning to television in February. The country superstar and actor is set to make a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Young Sheldon.
