Trial delayed for suspect in Knox County Deputys death

The trial for a 24-year-old suspect in a Knox County Deputy’s death has been delayed until next year, according to court documents. Daylon Richardson, of Granite City, who is in custody in Henry County Jail, appeared Monday in Henry County Court. Richardson pleaded guilty, and was found guilty of, charges of felon in possession of a firearm, aggravated fleeing/bodily harm, and improper lane usage, court records say. He will be tried on charges of murder – intent to kill/injure and murder/strong probability to kill/injure in a jury trial.

Kellie Pickler Departs On-Air Position at SiriusXM's The Highway

Kellie Pickler has exited her position as the midday on-air personality at SiriusXM's The Highway. The role will be taken over by Macie Banks, a member of the morning show led by Storme Warren. Banks was the one to share the news, doing so on The Highway's social media accounts on March 31. She will continue on the morning show and also take over the midday slot from 12-4pm ET. She began her new role on Monday, April 3.

A 42-year-old Abingdon, Ill., mixed martial arts coach faces felony charges after police allege he sexually abused a minor in three separate incidents in 2010 and 2011, according to court documents Beau W. Admire, 42, was arrested Nov. 2 in Knox County on a $100,000 warrant for two counts of criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to a news release from Thomas R.
